Whether you're outgoing or shy, a psychology
major or physical therapy, involved in arts
or athletics, there's a place in our chapter
for you!
A chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta for more than
fifty years now, our chapter prides itself
on our traditions, our history and our love
of our organization and of each other.
As a new member, you will learn more about
our International organization through New
Member classes and through talking with the
already Initiated members. You will
also be paired with an older Initiated
member who will serve as your sister-mother
-- your guide through the New
Member period and beyond.
Being a member of Alpha Gamma Delta means
having a support system both on- and
off-campus. Not only is there a
chapter full of collegiate members there to
support you, there is an active
Alumnae Chapter and Junior Circle in the
area. The International Organization
also offers opportunities like scholarships
to students and grants to sisters in need.
Scholarship is one of the main ideals of our
chapter. Required study hours and
programs that foster friendly scholarship
competition are just some of the ways we put
scholastics first in our chapter.
However, we also know that having fun is a
part of a well-rounded person. Every
year we hold both a semi-formal and a formal
dance, as well as other social events
throughout the year. We participate in
Carroll traditions Serenading and TinPanning
with the rest of Greek Life on campus, as
well as being involved in Homecoming and
Greek Week activities. |
